Catherine’s love of racing began when she was nine years old and began with an interest in local racing champions and in particular Charlie Fagg, GT3 racer, whom her father David helped through his driving test. Seeing Catherine’s interest in racing grow her parents, also avid racing fans, took Catherine to the local indoor Kart track for her 10th birthday. She loved it and she’s never looked back.
From visiting the track every Friday night afterschool Catherine went from strength to strength and soon decided to try Team sport Newcastle. Shortly after this Charlie came to help coach Catherine at karting North East Warden Law. She is now racing up and down the country.
Catherine puts 100 percent into everything. She refuses to let her racing interfere with school work. Catherine quite often takes her homework and reading books to different tracks. Quite often she will come home with various certificates and awards. Her school reports have been fantastic. Catherine also plays the tenor horn for Sedgfield district wind band.
Catherine loves to help others, you will often see her on a practice day showing the little Bambinos the best way round the track. She has been working hard with her little Brother Thomas. The results speak for themselves, Thomas ran a standard 50cc engine up against kids with expensive tuned engines however he managed to finish 4th in the Cumbrian championships and 3rd at Teesside 2018. Thomas has just recently won the first 2019 round at Teesside.
2018 Catherine won the Teesside 0 plate championship and came second in the Cumbrian championships.
2019 Catherine has been on the podium most rounds along with heat wins. Finished 2nd overall in the Teesside IKR sprint championship and 2nd in the Shennington IKR Honda cadet pro extreme championships.
2020 Catherine has won both Teesside 200cc Honda cadet sprint series championship along with Warden law cart club.
Rowrah guest round seen Catherine P1 and younger brother Thomas P2.
Catherine is currently supporting an anti bullying campaign in memory of a young 12 year old Charley who recently committed suicide.
Catherine is the first female to win Teesside 200cc and is hoping to encourage more girls to have belief that they can get up there
She is really looking forward to the next chapter which is Rotax Mini Max.

2021
What a fantastic start to the year. Thinking it would be another struggle. Catherine and Thomas have somehow struck gold or oil ! Morris lubricants have chosen them to become product ambassadors. They are Supplying the kids with oils lubricants and also ongoing technical support.
The whole family including there other two sisters worked really hard over lockdown with community projects including air ambulance care homes plus more, mainly focusing on helping the elderly. Just like what there Grandma would have done.
I guess good things happen to good people! Now they are fortunate to have good people helping them.
